Section 20 is devoted to the influence of spaceflight factors (weightlessness, overload, altered electromagnetic background, ionizing radiation, isolation, etc., including in ground-based experiments) on various physiological systems of the human body and model animals. The section's topics cover both applied issues related to maintaining human health during space exploration and the development of life support systems, as well as fundamental problems of the development and existence of all forms of life in extreme physical conditions.
