About

The Korolev Readings Conference serves as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience among leading scientists, engineers, and young professionals working in the field of space exploration. The conference has been held since 1977.

The conference features 22 thematic sections, featuring presentations by specialists from leading companies developing rocket and space technology, scientific organizations, and leading higher education institutions on modern achievements in astronautics, the results of fundamental research and development by historically established scientific and design schools, and current challenges in the development of the industry and space exploration.

The Readings are conducted in the following main areas:

  • research of the scientific contributions of space exploration pioneers;
  • history of rocket and space technology;
  • ground infrastructure facilities of missile systems;
  • production of rocket and space technology structures;
  • applied celestial mechanics and spacecraft motion control;
  • aircraft design and construction;
  • founders of aerospace engine building;
  • development of cosmonautics and fundamental problems of gas dynamics, combustion, and heat transfer;
  • economics of space activities;
  • cosmonautics and sustainable development of society (concepts, problems, solutions);
  • high-tech in rocket and space technology;
  • unmanned spacecraft for planetary and astrophysical research;
  • ballistics, aerodynamics of aircraft, and space flight control.
